Clyde O’Connor & Flying A Turbine

Clyde O’Connor, the founder of Flying A Turbine Aircraft Training, launched his illustrious career when he began flying in 1977. Since that time, he has logged more than 22,000 hours, including 20 north Atlantic crossings and two Pacific crossings in a single-pilot aircraft.

A graduate of Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Clyde O’Connor is an expert in all types of single and twin engine aircraft. He holds an ATP certification and is typed in HS-125. His other qualifications include being a current FAR 135 Check Airman PA-31, SimCom Be-90/200 PA-31T, Simuflite Gulfstream lll and CFII -ASMEL.

For more than 30 years, Flying A Turbine Aircraft Training has helped licensed pilots transition from piston engine to turboprop and turbojet aircraft. Our course is the first step in that process.
